Love & Travel - Bali, Indonesia

Long awaited vacation is finally arrived!!!
Bali, one of the island among 17,000 islands  & a well know holiday location in Indonesia is located at the western of Lesser Sunda Island. The provincial capital of Bali is known as Denpasar.Majority of the population living in Bali are Balinese Hinduism, while the majority of rest of them are Islam. Christian could hardly found in Bali. I think most of the Christian are the visitors from foreign countries, just like us.I'll let the pictures do the talk for My 5days 4night trip to Bali....
*Ready to Fly...

We departed from Lcct on 9.25am. The flight from KL to Ngurah Rai International Airport tooks approximately 3 hours time. My advice to those whoever that gonna take a flight for more than 1hour, P L E A S E avoid to choose the seat at 11th Row...Why? because it is just in front of the emergency exist and the seats are not adjustable!!wtf.
Day 1
Finally arrived at Ngurah Rai International airport after the 3hours back ache flight..
Welcomed by our Tour Guide, Xiao Fei. For your information, Bali is known as the "Island of Thousand Puras (Temples) too. This is because the Balinese strongly believe that everything have a God. They worship almost everything that around them, including, seas, trees, and roads!!
Canang Sari is a tray that made from coconut leaf which contains small flowers, coins (could be replace by biscuits or foods as well) inside as the offering to the creator Sang Hyang Widi Wasa. You could found this all around the corners in Bali island, such as temples, small house shrines, beaches, shopping malls, and even on the floor! But not to sweat if you have stepped on it unintentionally as it is not a big offenses.
Heading to Malioboro somewhere at Kuta area for our lunch.
Taa Daa!!! 1 of the Must -Try-Dishes, The Crispy Bone Chicken or Ayam Tulang Lunak. It comes in 2 flavor, 1 is Original Crispy Flavor...
And another 1 is Salted Egg Your Flavour...
See what's on my hand? It's the Happy Soda, or in the other term- Soda with air sirup. *Sweated* Guess how much we spent for this lunch? RM30++ per person..*Sweat again*
Headed to Uluwatu Temple in the afternoon. The Sun was hot enough to caused sun burn. But the beautiful panoramic worth the visit. Visitors are required to wear properly and for those who wear skirts or short pant will requested to wear Sarongs and it is available for free at the entrance.
Thing to be ware when you are there is the monkeys. Try not to wear sunglasses, hats or caps, and colorful slippers at there or else, it might been snatched by the cunning thief-Monkey. But of course, you can still get your belongs back by exchanging some fruits with those monkeys. Alternatively, you can also pay some tips for the local guide or the temple prieststo help you obtained back your goods too.

This is the common entrance that you could found in Bali. The size was very small and it is to be designed like that to avoid the demon or bad spirit to get into their houses or compound.
Here, you could found the biggest Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue in Bali. However, the statue was incomplete yet due to the financial and sponsorship problem. But once it is completed, this statue is believe to be more bigger than the statue of Liberty, New York with 150 meters tall with its wings span 64 meters across.
On the way to the top.....
Now, can you imagine how big is this statue?
Statue of Garuda
Er..no idea what is this...
The completed GWK Statue will look like this
Having our dinner at Jimbaran, the famous finishing village in Bali, where 20 people were killed in a series of terrorist suicide bom in year 2005.
A nice place for dinner
But the BBQ dinner ..Err....Well, can try la...
Day 2
a temple somewhere at Ubud market
With Chieng at Ubud Market. This street sold alot of souvenier. But, must becareful with those tricky peddlers. Sometimes, due to too many "0" in their currency, I will get confused actually how much is the total amount that i need to pay. And I have a very bad experience when bought souveniers at here. We try to bargainwith the peddlers, but guess what? We have been scolded by them by using their local dialect  as they told we cant understand them. I'm almost being cheated by the tricky lady as I have pay more but she just keep quiet and trying to avoid paying me the chance. wtf!

For those who would like to buy souvenir from Bali, I will rather recommended you to buy the souvenirs at GWK cultural park or somewhere else but not here as the things at here are quite limited of options and the quality isn't worth for those things that's almost the same price selling at somewhere else. Besides, try to avoid buying goods from the front stalls. Try to walk and discover the small street behind of this stalls and you will found out much more better goods with better price and space for bargain at there. And before I forgot, please do always remember, things at here are sell at quite higher prices, so don;t forget to bargain with them 50% or 60% from the original prices that they offered. If they refuse to accept your price, then just move out from their stall. For sure, they willl pull you in and say:" Ok la, I offer this price for you only. Don't tell my neighbourhood stall that you get this at this price. Or else, they will feel angry with me!"...wtf..i met & heard dis kind of tactic almost everywhere i went through in this street. Some even worse, telling you that they have offered the cheapest price, if you don't believe them, you could go and buy the same item from others shop which sold cheaper than them, and they will refund to you your money!!Please never ever believe this! They are not going to pay you back. Instead, they will ask you:" So how la?you want to buy another one from me huh?"Wtf...

One of the famous dish that only can found at Ubud- The dirty duck. It's taste quite nice, except for the veges.EeuWwK!! Wondering why they like to eat bean sprout!

the water fountain at Tampak Siring
Nah! For those who likes to throw coin and wishing better look at this sign!

There are 2 bathing spot here. Balinese usually will "wash" themselves or bathing at the 1st pond before get into the second pond.
Another entrance before entering the 2nd pond.

This is the 2nd pond as i have mentioned before. So, at here, people will wash their face & leg before proceed to the prayer in Pura Tirta Empul temple. In the picture, a young lady was offering the Canang Sari to their God.

Some do believe that the spring water have the power to cure, bring good health and prosperity.

The locals.

The next stop is Traditional Aroma Therapy Massage at Valentino. Well, I don't enjoy it as I memang tak suka massage. Feel quite "geli" when the therapist massage my hand and leg. Can't help myself stop laughing inside there.

Found this sign somewhere back to hotel. " Bankrupt Stock" OMG! Perhaps I should propose to my GM to use this words during our next promotional activities?

Cultural show inside the restaurant.

The end of the 3rd day.

4th Day

Today will be a 2nd last day of my sunny holiday...

Get ready to Turtle island, Tanjong Benoa using the glass deck boat. Well, quite disappointed with the so called "glass- deck"...cux indeed, it is just a small pieces of glass on the deck, but of course, you still can the fishes swimming under the sea water.
The boat will stop in the middle of the sea to allow the visitor feeding the fishes. But something to mention is, they didn't provide the life jacket. Well, I think this is important for the people like me we can't even swim for 500m. Alex & Chieng can't stop laughing at me as I'm scared and keep holing tight to the handle all along the way to the island.

This beach is famous with the variety of their water sports. And it is just located near the Ngurah Rai International Airport. So you can actually enjoy the beautiful scenery for about 3mins+- before landed at the airport. the water sports are including parasailing, snorkelling, banana boat, Sea walk, jet ski, bla bla bla and the most famous is Fly Fish, which they claim could only found at Bali island. All games are charge using USD.

It takes around 10mins to arrive the Turtle Island.
