Hai Peng Kopitiam, Kemaman

Surf around the blogs and I found this is one of the Must Go Places at Kemaman =)

Has read from few others blogs and found that most of them were this Kopitiam was normally full during weekend. So to avoid the crowd, I've woke up damn so early today...But, due to my laziness, only manage to get my butt up from the bed and out to breakfast at 9am..=)

The route to Hai Peng Kopitiam is much more easier for me. Reason is because yesterday, during my way to hunt for Stuffed Crab, I have lost and keeps on round and round and R O U N Dssss at this area for at least 3 times, wtf!

So, here It is...
Kedai Kopi Hai Peng. It's a well know breakfast spot for the locals here and also a Pit Stop for travelers.

This Kopitiam is famous with itVietnamese-style strong coffee.

By the time I have reached here, the Kopitiam was fulled already.

Luckily, managed to find a seat for myself.
As what I read from most of the bloggers, the Must Eat Foods at here are Curry toast, Ice Blended Coffee Breeze, Toasted Buns with kaya,  Kopi Panas, or Kopi-O, Half-boiled Eggs,Nasi Lemak bungkus, Nasi Dagang and bla bla bla...

But If you are still undecidable, then just order any menu that ended with " Hai Peng"'s name  =)

So, I ordered  Nasi Dagang. Tried this for the first time..Not bad though. Its boiled fish with rice wrapped with banana leaf and you need to add the Kuah on top of it.
Ordered Kaya Butter Toast as well. Taste abit too sweet for me.
Tapai or the Fermented Glutinous Rice. I has been an age I didn't eat this dessert.
But, I thought this is a Non- Halal food. How come It can be found at here while most of the customers are Malay as well..(Not sure if they are Muslim or not la...) Weird eh..Hmmm. Anyway, It taste nice *Thumbs Up*
Boiled Egg.

And of course, The Kopi C Peng...

Well, perhaps I'm not a coffee expert, so I don't found it's very much special if compare with other brands of coffee.

Overall, It was not bad. But seems like a bit overrated by the others. Some claims the price at here is a bit expensive but for me, I think It's more or less like at Miri. So, I have spent RM8.50 for what you can see as below. So it is expensive or not? You to rate it.
Besides that, They also sell some local Kuih- Muih
And as a " Souvenier" from this breakfast, I got the Parking Summon from the District Council for Parking illegally at payable space. Wtf..Didn;t notice there is a Parking Meter at there. No wonder not much cars were parked at there..Shit

Kolo Mee at Open Air Guang Xiang Ju (廣香居)

Craving something light for dinner last night, hence, we decided to go to the Open Air Market Kolo Mee- Guang Xiang Ju ( 廣香居). This is most delicious Kolo Mee  in Miri. They are famous not only because of their kolo mee, Steam Chicken, and Porridge, but also the characters of the owners!  =) I'm not sure how old are them, but i guess they are at the late 50 already. They are look old, but yet can move very fast and memorize all the order very efficiently without noted down in the paper! Solute them very much. One thing to remember when you place your order. They might seems like not hearing at you, but actually they did. Just tell them what you want to order and that's all. Don't keeps on reminding them or else you will get scolded =)

Altogether, there are 6 or 7 of them. Each of them playing their own role. One boiled the noodle & porridge, One pouring source and mix the noodle, one cutting the chicken, one topping up the dishes with Char Siew, and the rest are helping in washing dishes and serving foods.

Normally, they open at 730pm and it's available at night only.

As usual, we ordered the Kolo Mee, kolo Mihun and Steamed Chicken and guess how much is it? Well, All together is RM10.00 Nett Only (Murahnyeee~~~). Damn reasonable weih! Another must try is their Chicken Porridge. But we didn't order for it last night.

Somehow, my heart will feel a little bit sour when looking to them. I'm wondering if they have get married and do they have any children to taking care of them. But according to my friends, yes, some of them did married with kids, but some of them did not. The sad thing is they don't allowed the children to continue their business next time as for them, this is not a good future that their children deserve to have. Well, I hope they are going to change their mind and allowed their children to continue this business and a family business and make it as one of the famous Kopitiam in Miri next time.

But something I have to voice it out at  here. I just can't help to see some jerk that are very impatient to waiting to be served. Common la! They are old people, how you gonna expect them to increase their capacity?! If you come in late, then you just wait! Don't keep on rushing them and asking how long to be wait! If you can't wait then fuck off! They didn't ask you must eat at their stalk anyway! And if you
are waiting for your tapao, just find a free space beside the stalk, stand there and wait!! No point for you to stand in front of the stalk, blocking their way, because it won't help in speedup your order too! Can't you see that their only have limited space already, and yet you are blocking their way, squeezing with them and making the space become smaller and smaller?!  Just like what has happened last night. Those people who are waiting for tapao were blocking their way while all of them were rushing to deliver the foods and preparing the foods. One of the owner with unintentionally knocked the arm of the one who are cutting the chicken, hence, his finger got cut and bleed. He keeps on blaming his sibling to pushing his arm and yet the crowd still standing there and did'nt make a way for him. After that, he leave with angrily and perhaps, heading to the nearby clinic. Can you imagine how hurts is him?! damn those people, it won't be happened if they didn't stand at there and squeeze the space. At least the old folks have more bigger space to move and this can prevent the accident to be happened. So PLEASE la ok, next time, you tell him what you want, then find a seat, and sit diam diam to wait. For those who are tapao-ing, go and stand at the empty stall and wait! Don't blocking people's way.

Last but not least, I pray and hope that nothing serious happened to him. Decided to go there again tonight and i wish i could see him working as usual at there. Thanks God.

Nice to Meet Her

Have been working in current company for 1 and half year. One of the benefit to work with an international company is, you are able to meet a lot of people from different places, learn the different culture from different countries. But the cons is, i haven't got the chance to fly to international business trip yet although we are dealing with international customers everyday! Well, hope will get the chance soon....Besides, my plan to get back my previous shape is totally out of live, why? Because i just can't stop myself to being pampered with all the snacks that bought by our customer from overseas, just like this one....

Japanese Rice cake or Mochi

and this one
The peanut & rice snack

and also my favourite, this one *Recommended*

The specialty from Hokkaido, Japan
Since this is a Hokkaido specialty snacks, each people are allowed to buy only 1box of this snack and it is available in Hokkaido only.

The plan get even worst when you have to attend for a marathon dinners with your customer from Monday to Friday and it is last for 1 months, just like this fatty November....Gosh, really thank so much to them.

However, I do enjoy meeting and hang out with them as well. Got a surprised from my ex-boss. Received his email a couple of weeks ago, telling me that Inamura san is coming soon. I was so happy and excited to meet her. For your information, previously,  i were assigned to take care of Japan sales & shipping before transferred to in charge of domestic market. During that days, communicate with the Japanese colleagues and boss seems to be the routine of my job. I can't read and write in Japanese, needless to say to converse in Japanese language (Sumimasen, Nihongo Wa Hanasenai!). Thanks to the Google Translator's inventor. Google translator used to be my best pal everyday to help me translate the Japanese mails into Chinese words.

But my days isn't that worst anyway. Luckily most of my customers from Japan can speak and write in English. and don't be surprise, some of them can speak Bahasa Melayu very well too! Inamura san and Ito san are one of them. Inamura san is the message conveyor from Japan site to my site. Thanks so much for her helps during my service.

Was so happy to hang out with her that night. But her trip was too short. Before, She was craving for roti Canai and Teh Tarik, so here she goes....We granted her wish.haha.

Her Favourite-Teh Tarik-
She was really different from the one that i saw in the Friendster previously. She has a sunny skin, and very small in size. She is totally different from the typical Japanese Dolly that we see from TV and magazine...As i said, she can speak Malay right? so Guess how she counted 1 to 5 and onwards in Malay?
"Satu, Dua, Tiga, Empat, dan banyak banyak...."hehe..isn't she is cute?
