A Day at Cherating, Pahang

This is the first weekend at Kemaman, Terengganu. People at here didnt work on Friday & Saturday. Same goes to Kelantan. So It could be a very boring weekend If you don't have anything to do at here.

Here I go, get the car key & start the journey and today's destination is....
The Turtle Sanctuary, Cherating.
The Journey tooks around 15mins to 20mins from Kemaman. If you are from Kemaman to Kuantan, you will found the Sanctuary Park is somewhere at your Left Side. And the Asia's First Clud Med Cherating, Pahang is located just beside there.

Establish in 1972 as a Turtle protecting center in an effort to protect the endanger species the particular Leatherback Turtle, It was then opened to the public in 1998 as a centre to educate the public about turtles and the need to protect them.

My initial plan was to spend a night at Cherating, so that could observe the Turtle nesting activities. However, was quite disappointed me when the officer told me that turtles will land here to lay eggs between April to August only...Which mean I'm not in the right time to see that..Sien-ness.

The center is not as big as I thought. In fact, you can finish the visit less than 30mins.

Turtle hatchlings will be kept at here until they are old enough to be released into the sea during night time.

Besides that, you will be able to see many exotic and nice seashells

as well as others underwater species, such as Dugong

are displayed at the main exhibition hall.

So next, I'm heading to

The Holiday Villa Beach Resort & Spa, Cherating =)..What a wonderful weekend.

Well, what I can say is, It looks just 70% or less like what you can see from it website..

Next week, will heading to Rantau Abang...So, stay tunned!

Hai Peng Kopitiam, Kemaman

Surf around the blogs and I found this is one of the Must Go Places at Kemaman =)

Has read from few others blogs and found that most of them were this Kopitiam was normally full during weekend. So to avoid the crowd, I've woke up damn so early today...But, due to my laziness, only manage to get my butt up from the bed and out to breakfast at 9am..=)

The route to Hai Peng Kopitiam is much more easier for me. Reason is because yesterday, during my way to hunt for Stuffed Crab, I have lost and keeps on round and round and R O U N Dssss at this area for at least 3 times, wtf!

So, here It is...
Kedai Kopi Hai Peng. It's a well know breakfast spot for the locals here and also a Pit Stop for travelers.

This Kopitiam is famous with itVietnamese-style strong coffee.

By the time I have reached here, the Kopitiam was fulled already.

Luckily, managed to find a seat for myself.
As what I read from most of the bloggers, the Must Eat Foods at here are Curry toast, Ice Blended Coffee Breeze, Toasted Buns with kaya,  Kopi Panas, or Kopi-O, Half-boiled Eggs,Nasi Lemak bungkus, Nasi Dagang and bla bla bla...

But If you are still undecidable, then just order any menu that ended with " Hai Peng"'s name  =)

So, I ordered  Nasi Dagang. Tried this for the first time..Not bad though. Its boiled fish with rice wrapped with banana leaf and you need to add the Kuah on top of it.
Ordered Kaya Butter Toast as well. Taste abit too sweet for me.
Tapai or the Fermented Glutinous Rice. I has been an age I didn't eat this dessert.
But, I thought this is a Non- Halal food. How come It can be found at here while most of the customers are Malay as well..(Not sure if they are Muslim or not la...) Weird eh..Hmmm. Anyway, It taste nice *Thumbs Up*
Boiled Egg.

And of course, The Kopi C Peng...

Well, perhaps I'm not a coffee expert, so I don't found it's very much special if compare with other brands of coffee.

Overall, It was not bad. But seems like a bit overrated by the others. Some claims the price at here is a bit expensive but for me, I think It's more or less like at Miri. So, I have spent RM8.50 for what you can see as below. So it is expensive or not? You to rate it.
Besides that, They also sell some local Kuih- Muih
And as a " Souvenier" from this breakfast, I got the Parking Summon from the District Council for Parking illegally at payable space. Wtf..Didn;t notice there is a Parking Meter at there. No wonder not much cars were parked at there..Shit

The New Journey Begin

After working for 3years and 6months for my previous employer, finally, I have make a move and pursuit my career in  another brand new field.

On 3rd March, I have fly all along the way from Miri to Kemaman, Terengganu to attend a 1 Month Training under the HQ.

Well, training could be fun..I mean If I'm still with my previous company. Because 1 thing for sure, the venue & accommodation will never disappointed me. Just Imagine, staying at 5Stars hotel, conference at 5 Stars hotel, wake up in the morning and enjoying the 5stars international breakfast...And after training  meeting or conferencing or whatever-Ing, soak myself in a bathtub (Well, sometimes no bath tub available), changing clothes and go out for shopping around the hotel.

B U T, If you were assigned to be undergo the training or course or project at here, then please forget about all the 3, 4, or 5 Stars hotel. Most of the people who were here for short term will be arranged to either stay at their company hostel or Homestay. Well, my admin staff was told that I have been given a " Semi D" and i will be staying alone there..Semi D, sound good for me..But when I'm almost fainted to see the so called Semi D..Holy Shit!!! I was a very old kampung house with no fencing at all and hmm...it's looks a little bit dirty for me..(Doesn't mean to be fussy, when I'm staying away from home, I'm very particulars for the washroom condition of the place where I will stay. I don't mind if I'm just here just for 1 or 2 days..but come on, I'm here for 30days or 1 Month!! But I should be thanks to God, at least I got an air con in my room and I'm not been arranged to stay at the oil storage store as claimed by a blogger than has came here for Industrial training before.

This isn't bad enough during the first day I'm here. I've reached Kemaman around 9pm. As I haven't took my dinner, they offered to bring me to the nearby kopitiam. I'm appreciated for their courtesy, but since tomorrow is PH and they are rushing back to home, so I told them, It's find..I can just dapao and eat at hostel later. So, ordered food, pay for it and checked, no plastic spoon provided. Wtf!!! How to eat Mee Goreng Basah with hand? My gosh..so went to the 7-Eleven next door, asked if they did sell any spoon, and sadly, the Cashier said NO..wtf...But to not make my colleagues feel guilty, I tell them It's ok. I will try to use hand to eat but actually I'm starving that night =( Luckily I still have a pcs of Cake that took from the flight just now.

Form the 1st morning I woke up, I cant stop to count down for the days to get back to my home. Keeps blaming why I was placed at here, Why did I make myself suffering by choosing this job? Keeps testing the sweetheart, telling him I can't wait to go back and I don;t think I'll be survived at here. I was cultural shocked!

But minutes after that, I became more calm and I told myself. I should be grateful. We need to have a little bit sacrifices in order to achieve something bigger. This is a test for me, to growth stronger. Perhaps, things is not that bad actually. Most of the time I will be spending at office and working, so perhaps should not care too much about the room condition. After all, God is loves me. He knew I cant survive without aircon and here I go, a Kampung style master room  with Aircon at least..haha. And I have a lot of friendly new colleagues at here =). For my conveniences, the boss even give me a car to ride around. So see, things isn't that worse right?

Anyway, counting down..25days to Go!
